Ricky and Barry’s awesome Wedding at Moore Hall Hotel in Warwickshire.
I met Ricky and Barry back at a wedding fair in the autumn of 2016, and we’d caught up not long before their big day for their pre-wedding shoot at the hotel. The guys were totally fab, we shared at lunch and also a few cheeky beers.
It was a bright and sunny morning as I made my way to Moore Hall Hotel, just around the corner from my in-laws to capture some of the wedding preparations. The venue was filling up with friends and family, lots of laughs and Prosecco flowing! I spent some time first thing capturing some of the wedding details, like shoes, cuff links and buttonholes which all matched the guys suits awesomely.
The boys got ready together and looked fab in their green bow ties. Their suits complimented each others perfectly, with Barry wearing a waistcoat. The whole time I was with them it was just smiles and laughter, which was to continue for the rest of the day.
One of the things I loved about this wedding was the gorgeous aspect of the personal touch the boys had done for their day. From the ceremony to the decor in the evening, everything was just perfect.
Ricky and Barry made their entrances together – and I’ve never seen two sets of parents so proud, as they watched their sons walk hand in hand down the aisle. The ceremony was quite emotional, and I particularly enjoyed the part where there were happy tears shed by the couple. It showed the pure love and happiness they shared!< Ricky and Barry made their exit to a shower of applause and cheers, even with a high five!
Then it was time to enjoy a few bubbles and start the celebrations! I also snuck them away for a quick portrait outdoor session around the grounds of Moore Hall Hotel. At this point the clouds began threatening a bit, but instead of rain, it just provided quite a dramatic backdrop! The day continued with a delicious three course meal and some very emotional speeches and some epic dance moves to end the night.
