In mid October last year, I was privileged to photograph Emily and Owen's beautiful Wedding day.
I'd been looking forward to photographing their Wedding at Fawsley Church and Fawsley Hall in Northamptonshire for such a long time. We'd met a number of times before the big day and I was excited to see all that they had planned, come together. And wow! How beautifully it did!
Emily and her bridesmaids got ready at Fawsley Hall, it was such a calm place to be. As bubbly was enjoyed, much laughter was being shared. Owen, meanwhile, was getting ready just down the the road in a lovely setting, Tews Farm. Along with his groomsmen, he got suited and booted before they took a short walk across the fields with the sheep and wedding party to the church.
Emily enjoyed a short drive in a gleaming Jaguar from Fawsley Hall to the Church. Emily then made a stunning entrance in her Stella York dress from Verona Courture in Olney. The ceremony was led by one of the coolest vicars I've met, with blue tinted hair and flowery Dr Martens. I was able to get some great shots from the front of the church. A flower pedestal at the front of church is always great for a Wedding Photographer to hide behind.
After a short walk back across the field to Fawsley Hall, everyone was able to relax, enjoy a glass of bubbly and some scrumptious canapés.
The newlyweds and I took this opportunity to take some photos in the grounds of the stunning Fawsley Hall - a beautiful backdrop for photographs. Emily and Owen were so chilled out and happy for their portraits and were a dream to photograph. We headed back into Fawsley for more bubbles and canapés, and soon it was time for the couple to celebrate with their guests during their wedding breakfast.
After some very entertaining speeches, followed by cake and dancing, I couldn't resist getting Emily and Owen to stop briefly for some evening portraits in the gorgeous surroundings of Fawsley Hall. The clear night sky was stunning. It would have been a crime not to!
