Courteenhall, Northamptonshire

In August I photographed the beautiful wedding of Claire and Sam at the perfect country wedding venue of Courteenhall in Northamptonshire. Surrounded by friends and family, they had an amazing day with so many laughs, so many special moments. The sun shone beautifully for them all day.

I arrived in the morning to spend some time with Claire and her bridesmaid Kate. Claire’s mum was also there helping them get ready for the day ahead. Meanwhile the men were gathering at the pub in the village of Collingtree. Meeting friends and family before they walked to the church.

Throughout the ceremony, Claire and Sam beamed from ear to ear. The Church broke out to a round of applause as the vicar announced our new husband and wife. The newly weds headed down the aisle to more applause and cheering and were greeted by guests outside with a floury of confetti. We then all took a short drive back to Courteenhall where drinks were being served on the lawn for guests and the sun continued to shine. I borrowed Claire and Sam for a few moments to take some gorgeous portraits within the country house capturing some of its original features and historical charm.

After sharing fun, food and laughter with friends and family I once again borrowed Claire and Sam for a few moments as the sun started to set. We walked around the beautiful parkland. It’s the perfect place for bride and groom portraits and on this day the light was particularly magical.

Claire and Sam thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your amazing day, I enjoyed every moment. I wish you a lifetime of laughter, fun and happiness.
